The Killer Hogs have been competing and winning in the Memphis in May™ BBQ circuit for almost 10 years. After years of sharpening our recipes and mastering our smokers, our not-so-humble barbeque team is now a force to be reckoned with in the competitive bbq circuit.
In 2005, the Legendary Killer Hogs walked away from every Memphis in May™ sanctioned BBQ event we entered proudly holding at least one trophy (sometimes not an easy feat!). We have done it all with a great deal of pride in ourselves and respect for the other teams… throwing one hell of a party along the way!
With the help of Cattlemen’s Barbeque Sauce, we dominated the Patio Porker division in the 2006 Memphis In May World™ Championship Barbeque Cooking Contest, bringing home 1st Place in the division and a gigantic trophy.
In 2007, we returned to The Super Bowl of Swine™ to compete on the highly competitive professional level. Armed with determination, years of preparation and plenty of Cattlemen’s barbeque sauce, our team proudly placed 13th out of 126 teams.
In the future we plan to continue competing, keep on learning, and strive for better and better barbeque. And of course, in true Killer Hogs form, we will never cease to have a good time doing it all.
