GOLDEN BABY BACK RIBS YOUR WAY
Print Send To A Friend

Servings: 4 to 6 servings

Prep Time: 5 minutes | Cook Time: 1 hour |

Ingredients:

4 pounds pork baby back ribs (about 2 large racks)
Salt and pepper to taste
1 1/2 cups CATTLEMEN'S® Carolina Tangy Gold™ Barbecue Sauce

Steps:

  1. Cut ribs into 3 to 4-rib portions. Rub all sides with salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Cook* ribs on a well-greased grill over medium heat for 1 hour until tender and no longer pink near bone, turning often. Baste with barbecue sauce during last 15 minutes of cooking.
  3. Cut into individual pieces and serve additional barbecue sauce on the side for dipping.

Tips:

  • Tip: For very tender ribs, remove membrane from underside of ribs. With a sharp paring knife, score membrane on bone from underside of ribs. Lift up portions of membrane with point of knife. Using kitchen towel, pull membrane away from bone and discard.
  • *Oven Barbecue Method: Prepare ribs as above. Place in foil-lined large roasting pan. Brush barbecue sauce on ribs. Bake at 375°F for 1 hour until tender and no longer pink near bone, basting occasionally with additional barbecue sauce.
  • *Slow-Cook Method: Prepare ribs as above. Prepare grill for indirect cooking over medium-low heat (250°F). Place ribs on rib rack or in foil pan. Cook on covered grill 2 1/2 to 3 hours until very tender. Baste with barbecue sauce during last 15 minutes of cooking. If desired, grill ribs over direct heat at end of cooking to char slightly.
